Nigeria's new Super eagles coach, Sunday Oliseh finally clears the air on rumours revolving round his relationship between him and his former assistant retired striker Jay Jay Okocha in the eagles when he said bluntly ' I hate Okocha'
Responding to a reporter on the possible reason behind his alteration in what looked like an empty hall, Sunday Oliseh said "i hate Okocha because anytime we play Tennis he beats me.
As against the picture painted by Oliseh, lot of people still believe that Okocha stabbed Oliseh in the back when he accepted the captaincy of the Eagles to the 2002 World Cup.
The new National team coach since his appointment had started to draw his own map of what he wants the eagles to be like as he claims his regime would encourage individual talent display while working as a group just like it was in 1994 and 1996 with the Nigerian national team though according to him, collective football yields results as obtainable in Germany and Spain.
Still on his rumour beef between him and Okocha, Sunday Oliseh said ‘’We’re the best of friends and we played Tennis at the weekend’’, he emphasised. Okocha is currently the Chairman of Delta State Football association and Chairman of NFF’s Study Group.
