| Just few days after the death of the Sudaneese Ambassador to Nigeria on 24 Oct. 2014 after a brief illness, in the same vein and after six days, the husband of the Nigerian Ambassador to the UN Prof. Joy Ogwu was confirmed dead. In an affirmative statement by the Permanent Mission of Nigeria to the UN, New York, Dr. Alloysius Ogwu ( the deceased ) was aged 77.
