Dozens Feared Dead as Boat Capsized on The Mediterranean Sea

A smugglers boat with about 950 refugees on board has capsized and sank on the Mediterranean sea off Libya with about 700 feared dead.

A Bangladesh Survivor revealed that hundreds of people had been locked in the hold of the vessel by smugglers totalling the number of deaths on the Mediterranean aside from those seeking refuge in Europe this year to 1500.

Nonetheless,Britain's Foreign Minister, Philip Hammond has said he was horrified by the death toll and the vile trade of smugglers thereby organizing a meeting in Luxembourg with his European Counterparts where issues of People smugglers would be discussed.

It's believed that the vessel overturned while the migrants moved to one side of the boat in a bid to seek rescue by an approaching merchant ship.

28 people were pulled from the Mediterranean while about 24 people has been confirmed dead.
