The Incumbent Governor of Imo State has finally been declared Winner in the just concluded supplementary gubernatorial polls held on Saturday.
The April 12 Election was declared inconclusive by the Apex Electoral Body in Nigeria (INEC) thereby rescheduling a re-run election between Incumbent Governor Owelle Rochas Okorocha of the APC and his greatest rival Mr. Emeka Ihedioha.
Results of the Saturday Polls revealed that Governor Rochas Okorocha polled 416,996 votes while Mr. Emeka Ihedioha got 320,705 votes.
With over 96,291 votes,Governor Rochas Okorocha had succeeded in making Imo State an APC state that could represent the entire SouthEast region
