Ex- Nigerian Militant purchases Six Warships

A former, tough and popular Niger Delta militant, Mr. Government Ekpemupolo ,nick named  "Tompolo"  has recently bought six decommissioned Norwegian warships which according to Dagblabet, the Norwegian Newspaper is said to have been re-armed with new weaponry

This is aside from his purchase of KNM Horten, A craft specially used in fighting piracy on Nigerias seaways.

This implys that his recent purchase of the 6 warships has gotten the concurrence of the Nigerian Ministry of foreign affairs as this is the major condition for purchase of weaponry from Norway.

The Ex-Militant, Mr. Tompolo is also now in charge of the Global West Vessel service, a privately owned company serving under contract in collaboration with the Nigerian Maritime safety Agency.

Inspite of his history of violence, the Ex-Militant seems to now be in terms with the government, with reasons yet to be known.

Nonetheless, Nigerias quest for purchase of weapons now seems to be on the high side, with the Military still complaining of insufficient weapons to end the nightmare of the Boko Haram terror group.
