Man Nabbed for Vandalising Nigerian Oil Pipeline to raise Election Campaign Funds

The Nigerian Director general of police on Anti Pipeline and vandalism on Monday arrested a self confessed politician " Mr. Wahab Junied" for vandalising a Nigerian National Petroleum Cooporations pipeline in the Obafemi Owode Local Government area of Ogun State.

The Officer in charge of the tax force revealed that Mr. Wahab was one of the,Units most wanted vandal list and he explained how he was arrested in Owode.

On interogation,Mr. Wahab said he returned to vandalism after his recent release from prison as he needed funds to campaign for a political post in the countrys upcoming 2015 election.

He said he was an active member of an undisclosed political party in the state and being recently nominated to represent his people, he needed to raise money to sponsor his campaign.

He went further to say he was convinced by one of his vandal friend that the area was clear for the criminal Act.
