suicide bomber at a School in Potiskum, Yobe State, Nigerians were

not caught abark when today 11Nov. 2014, the Incumbent Nigerian

President Goodluck Jonathan made a public pronouncement of his bid

to run and serve a second term come 2015 general elections.

Late last month, the president picked his party nomination form of

N22 Milllion claimed to be supported by donations from concerned

Nigerians.

In a rally today in Abuja, the Federal Capital City of Nigeria, the

President responded to cheering supporters saying " after listening to

the clarion call of Nigerians, I have accepted to present myself to

Nigeria being one of the largest Oil producer in Africa has been

governed by Dr. Goodluck Jonathan since 2011, being a Southerner

from one of the Oil rich States in the country, understanding the

dynamics of governance growing from being a Vice President to

President after the death of Late President Musa Yaaradua.

Talking about series of attacks by the five year old Boko Haram terror

group and its negative impact in the Nigerian economy both home

and abroad, the president said " the terror group had cast a dark

cloud over the country" promising that the over 200 School girls

captured in Chibok " will be freed and terrorism will be defeated in

our country.

Notwithstanding, amidst his greatest rivals are the former military

ruler of the APC party , Gen. Muhammadu Buhari and former Vice

President Atiku Abubakar under the Obasanjo Administration.

Aside from the Boko Haram saga, the president attested to the fact

that corruption also is a cankerworm bedeviling the nations
