Miss World 2014 Crown Goes To 22 Years Old South African Rolen Strauss

Miss Rolene Strauss of South Africa has been crowned the winner of the 64th annual edition of the Miss World beauty peagent over the weekend in London amidst 121 women in the competition that contested around the globe being the third South African to win the crown since inception

The 22 year old medical student seems caught abark at the announcement not until she was crowned by
the outgoing Miss World, Megan Young of the Philippines, to huge cheers in the ExCeL exhibition centre.

While being crowned and accepting responsibility on her new role, strauss dedicated the award to South Africa (her country), and promised to boost up the level of education at her homeland.

In her words  "South Africa this is for you,I think I will brace myself for what's about to happen. It's a huge responsibility."

Notwithstanding, alongside Strauss, Miss Hungary, Edina Kulcsar, was judged the runner-up and Miss United States, Elizabeth Safrit, came third in the 64th annual competition, contested by women from 121
countries.
