Boko Harams Leader Still Alive, Says " I Have Not Disappeared"

Boko Harams leader, Abubakar Shekau has on Sunday finally broken his five months silence on what he called tales revolving round his death or capture as the sects leader.

In the same report by the Dailypost, Nigerian journalist known to have access to top commanders of the Boko Haram sect, Ahmad Salkida, had earlier debunked claims by Chadian President, Idris Derby, that the dreaded Boko Haram leader, Abubakar Shekau has been dethroned and replaced with a certain Mahamat Daoud. Salkida had insisted that Abubakar Shekau was alive and still presides over the affairs of the notorious group.

In the eight minute recording addressed to the leader of the Islamic State, IS, Shekau insisted that he was still in control of Boko Haram.

He described the Chadian President, Idris Derby, who had confirmed speculations of his ouster as a “hypocrite”, adding that infidels were behind reports of his death.

According to the notorious terrorist, “It is indeed all over the global media of infidels that I am dead or that I am sick.

“It should be understood that this is false. This is indeed a lie. If it were true, my voice wouldn’t have been heard, now that I am speaking.

“I have not disappeared. I am still alive and I will not die until my time appointed by Allah is up”.
