Nigerias state of Insecurity became an issue of international concern when in April 2014 the Boko Haram groups kidnapped more than 200 girls in Chibok on gun point of which some of the girls later escaped perharps maybe during fightings among the militants
On a recent development, the Nigerian President Goodluck Jonathan has agreed a "ceasefire" with the deadly group in exchange for the release of about 219 kidnapped school girls yet missing
In a statement by the Nigerian Air Marshal Alex Badeh, it was made known that the ceasefire agreement was concluded between the Nigerian Government and the terrorist group testifying that these agreement was a result of the discussions had with them.
On inquiry about the current health condition of the girls,, in an update by Skynews corresspondent, it was said that the insulgent group attested to the fact that the girls were safe and well and that they could be freed.
These agreement came to light in Chad with the Chad President as the mediating negotiator.
Of recent, the Boko Haram group has caused a lot of unrest in Nigeria from lots of bombings to rise in death toll while the government kept developing strategies on how to stop the insulgents
